HiBy W5 discontinued?

The HIBy W5 BT headphone amp looks more or less discontinued or at least sold out, even on Aliexpress and Chinese sites. It seems like it was a commercial flop although it has some impressive specs and the UAT codec. I can pick one up for ~$50 but I'm not sure it's even worth it considering the quirks. From what I can see lack of a USB port for charging is a big drawback and the touch controls are wonky (lack of volume, etc)
I came across a cheap one. Is it worth $50 in 2021 or should I stick to more mainstream one like Fiio, Earsone, Quedlix etc?

The touch control is horrible and I won't want to use it even if it is $25.

I'll take your advice. Weird product amazing that they managed $75k for the kickstarter.
