That seemed to be my case as well, I'd update, and it wouldn't necessarily say there was something more. Hit check for updates again, or maybe after a restart? Hope that helps

I have mine connected via a 5 meter USB cable to my

Mutec MC3+USB re-clocker

And via a 110 ohm AES cable I feed the output of the Mutec into my

Grace Design m903 Reference D/A Headphone amplifier

I will post some front panel display photos to try to figure out what sample rates are going on...

So here are some photos.

seems like the Mutec is seeing 96k from the HiBy playing Amazon Music HD.

as I change albums the sample rate display on the Mutec doesn’t reset or change it always shows 96k on its USB (B) input.

After the Mutec I have a TC Finalizer 96K+ inserted via AES before the Grace. I am adding a lick of hf eq for my old ears on the Finalizer and adding some tube-ish warmth via its “digital Radience generator”. It sounds best if I clock the Finalizer “external DI” (from the Mutec)

Michael McDonald sounding smooth! Might have to switch it to some metal next!

What IEMs do you use with R6pro?
My ibasso it04 are not so good with Hiby. No synergy found)) highs are too crispy.

I use JH Audio Lola's (Universal Fit). The sound is incredible

64 Audio U12t. Have also used FiiO FH7 and IMR R2 Aten, all good with the R6 Pro.

Those U12t look sweet! Have you compared them to JH's IEM's? I'm thinking of picking up a custom pair and I'm struggling with the decision. Music: female vocals, classical, guitar, blues...

Haven't heard any JH IEMs but U12t is sweet indeed. It'll nail all those genres - I mainly listen to female vocal and instrumental myself. Maybe start with the universal and if you love it, get a custom as your endgame.

Hi,

i am having a problem trying to connect my Hiby R6 Pro to an Audio GD NFB 1.38 DAC via USB. The problem is when I try to connect the player with the USB cable to the DAC: it can't recognize the USB connection and I don't get the various options (file transfer, USB out…) like when I connect it to the PC. I have already tried with two different cable (one with OTG adaptor and another directly USB C to USB Type B).

Is there any option to select to make it work or do you have any advice to help me solve the problem?
