I have a Hiby R6 Pro DAP and am currently using Sennheiser HD 650s with the player with a 3.5 mm (1/8) connection. The music sounds great!

I have been told that I may still want an amp to help push those headphones.

I believe, and someone double check me, that the R6 Pro can output music via its USB C jack. Also, it can do it from the COAX/Line Out jack.

I have been recommended the iFi Micro iDSD Black Label DAC/Headphone Amplifier/Preamp with MQA and DSD.

But I also just saw a video on the iFi Hip-dac Portable DAC Headphone Amp Balanced. I guess I would need a USB - C to USB - A adapter go from the R6 Pro to the Hip DAC.

Would the Hip DAC work or would I be better off to go with the Black Label for the Sennheiser HD 650s?

I want something portable/transportable that would allow me to use my 650s or my new Fiio FH5s that are on the way, with the R6 Pro. I am considering purchasing a balanced cable to use with both "headphones."

I listen to my FLAC files and TIDAL in the Master/Hifi Mode.

Any other amp recommendations welcome! Thanks!
