Maybe @Joe Bloggs can help with that.
@Shanling Hi SHanling, any plans for HibyLink desktop app?
Could install an Android Emulator on a PC, and install the Hiby Link on the emulator. Would need a bluetooth interface anyway.
I've just installed on my Redmi Note phone. I'm running it over on M3S with the new firmware image 1.3
This shall be very nice for my daily commuting
ps: It most probably will shorten battery life/autonomy. By how much rests to be seen
This is question that must be aimed at HiBy, they produce this software.
Also, please keep in mind these are mainly portable players, so making software for desktop control seems like one of last things on to-do list.
Also, I wonder what is the percentage of desktops being shipped with Bluetooth interfaces?
Literally every laptop and every desktop with an integrated intel wireless card
Sorry if this was already answered, but can this app be used to copy audio files from phone to DAP over BT?
I have a M2s with Firmware 3.1 and installed HibyMusic from the appstore on my iPhone SE.
I have turned on Bluetooth on both devices. I turned on HibyMusic on the M2s. On the iPhone I have a paried connection to the M2s in the Bluetooth settings menu but in the HibyMusic app I do not get a connection to the M2s.
Does anyone know what I am missing here?
I can’t get Hiby to connect to my M3s via my iPhone 7 either. Something is amiss, but I’m not sure either. @Shanling do you have a step by step for iPhone users? Obviously we could use some help.
Never mind...it worked today! First time, and it’s pretty cool.
And how did you manage that?
I hope HiBy app will allow some phone call integration soon--such as transferring sound during phone call to the player via HiBy Link, or at least pausing music playback when a phone is ringing and while conversation is in progress.
Not sure if the HiBy music in appstore does have this function already. In past you needed to download instalation file from website that was provided in firmware update package.
Also, you don't pair M2s with phone in phone settings, but directly in HiBy music app. Complete guide on how to make HiBy music work is included with all our firmware update ZIP files.
Let's see. First turn your bluetooth on on your phone. Next turn your Bluetooth on on your M2s. Pair the two, so that it is on your phone's list of pairable devices (and vice versa). Turn the Hiby feature on on your M2s. Open Hiby link app on your phone. Turn on Hiby link feature on the app. Your phone should then find your device, and you are paired. It pretty much worked just like that. Have your music player playing a track, so that when it does pair, you can immediately see it playing in your Hiby app.
I tried also a couple of times and suddenly it worked.
Don‘t ask me how.
Can I change the listing order for songs within an album when you navigate via artist.
All songs from an artist in alphabetical order do not makes much sense here.
I would like to choose an artist and see all albums first and then the songs from this album.
Even if it could, it's extremely slow. Just keep a short USB-C to USB-C cable and do it via file transfer with something like ES File Explorer.
