Hi to all
So, I was very happy with the SQ of the 1060c's, but the build quality is so desperately poor that they're next to unusable. The nut/screw assembly falls apart and I've already had one pair replaced.

I've heard good things about the GR1's and they're on sale now with Emotiva's BIG EGO1 portable DAC, so I ordered that combo. Anyone have the GR1's? What's the take on the FR on them? Thanks for any input.

Yes I remember the 1060C, and only a bottle of Loctite can keep them from vibrating certain screws off. The swivel system and motorcycle-helmet weight got to me after a while. For closed backs we have the Drop Dan Clark Aeon closed with the black foam inserts, and a pair of AKG K371 downstairs for when the landscapes come through with their leaf blowers set on "stun".
