Hi, this would be my first post here at Head-fi. The first of many I presume.
Anyways, I came here so that I might ask you guys for some serious headphone advice.
I've had my eyes set on the Shure E2c headphones for a while now. I am a former owner of the Sony EX70s. Former because they shorted out and I am now headphoneless and seeking an even better solution.
My favorite thing about the sony's were the fact that they were so comfortable and easy to wear. Now I'm looking for something with similar ease and comfort, with superior sound and isolation.
I HAD my eyes set on the Shure E2c headphones, until today when I posted this on the Gaming-Age Off Topic forums.

Some of the posts in this thread enligtened me to a few things. Namely Etymotic's and various online stores which sell these headphones MUCH cheaper than the price displayed on each headphones manufacturers website.
Now I would like to know how these two headsets:
http://www.buy.com/retail/product.as...9&loc=101&sp=1 Etymotic ER6-I
http://www.buy.com/retail/product.as...0&loc=101&sp=1 Etymotic ER6-P
And this
http://www.buy.com/retail/product.as...90132508&loc=0
Shure E2c
How do these headphones compare with eachother in terms of sound quality, comfort, and isolation?
I would also like to know, is buy.com a trustworthy online store? Are those prices for real? Some things I see there are $100 less than prices you see at the makers websites.
Any help is GREATLY appreciated. Thank you, I plan to order either tonight or tomarrow.
