Hopefully it's safe to come back into this forum, if at least for one thread.
So I've been researching as many silver interconnects as possible the last few months and have ultimately pinned down two as the creme de la creme in their price range - HGA's new $575 DNA (based on the Silver Lace, this is their new flagship) and VH Audio's new $590 Spectrum Ag (the prices I'm quoting are for 1M with LOK Silver Point and WBT-0102 NextGen respectively). Originally I wasn't planning on spending this much but with my system the way it is, it definitely makes sense for me to splurge a bit.
The problem is that both of these ICs look absolutely fantastic and should sound equally amazing too, considering the legacy of both the Silver Lace and the previous Spectrum Ag's, and their similarity in price makes it even harder to choose! Which one would you guys pick, and why?
I am not open to other silver ICs at this point btw so please don't recommend any others, these two are the ultimate sweet spots for me, they just look so awesome. I just want some constructive input from some of the experienced cable people here please.
Btw, no need to ask about the scaling of either of these ICs for my system, I've already figured that part in.
