Which one of these headphones would you recommend for listening to trance music? I originally wanted to spend 350-400$ on a pair of headphones, but from alot of feedback im getting it sounds like it would be smarter to spend it also on a soundcard/amp etc as well as a cheaper headphone.

Could you compare these two headphones? (If you have PRO-XXX comparing those with the SRH840s would be helpful aswell)

With that said, which one of these headphones would work the best with a set up that totals under 400$ (including headphones). As I live in Canada an easy to purchase soundcard/ampdac or w/e would be great.

(Other headphones/amp than listed are fine aswell, but i would like more info on those)

Also, im looking to purchase soon so if you could be as helpful as possible thatd be great.

I have never tried the HFI-780, but I am one who thinks the SRH840 is over rated. I think the SRH840 would be horrible for trance type music. The ATH-M50 would be better suited.
