Hey,

I have a pair of etymotic hf2s, and I wanted to get some custom moulded earplugs for them (dont really like the supplied ones). I was going to go with some DB Blockers, as I already had the casts done for work, so they give you half off.

Anyway, I was wondering if any of you know if the etymotic er4s have the same plug attachment as the hf2s do. Any help would be great. FYI I emailed etymotic and they never got back to me. When I emailed DB blockers, they said that I'd have to mail my earphones to them to make sure that they fit, outherwise they cant guarantee anything.

They use the same tips but not the same filters. The barrels aren't exactly the same so I guess it would depend on how great a portion of the barrel will be covered by the custom molds

I've e-mailed several mold makers and never got an answer.

Seems that the barrels and tips are virtually identical. HF2 at top, ER4 at bottom
