I'm surprised at all the strat people there are here. I thought folks thought they were sort of vanilla. Then again a lot of badasses like Jimi and Stevie were strat guys, so I guess it goes to show.

For a comic, something like the Strat might be a little too "stock" looking. I think an SG has more character to it (even Les Pauls have become pretty standard) or something a little more different, like a firebird or flying V.
