Maybe for mixing, circumaural and under $100.00 canadian?

It sure sounds like a job for the hd215s"link. However, I've heard it's kinda lean on the bass though.

According to the Equation Audio website, a Mother's Music nearby where I live should have some RP21s in stock. I'll post back with a price.

One problem with the grados though is that they are supraural, which the OP said he wasn't interested in.

Supraural is on-ear, circumaural is over or around the ear.

No sweat. I was actually surprised at the price for the RP21s up here; a paltry 109.95 at my local Mothers Music. I'm a weak man, I just HAD to pick up a pair. What the people hear say about this headphone is definitly true.
