...do you guys know any stores that sell high-end headphones for me to audition? Most specifically Grado, Ultrasone, and Audio Technica. What about stores that sell portable amps?

Thanks guys!

I saw some but you weren't able to try them. I always try before I buy, especially when it comes to audio.

Anywhere around Mountain View or close? There's one place I know called Hi Audio or something like that, but they don't have Grado.

Hi, Kramer. The Great Mall in Milpitas? If that's the one, it's not exactly San Francisco (as you know ... don't want to inadvertently mislead anybody). I checked the online directory of stores there, and didn't see a listing for Creative.

I used to try the Senn 580/600/650 at Magnolia Hi-Fi (Winchester + Stevens creek). I'm not sure if they're still in business and if they still have the listening station. Give them a call.

I don't recall to see a Creative store in Great mall, lately. The stores in Great mall move in/out quite often. They might have moved.
