I'm running a Lavry Da11 out of a mac pro with lossless files. My headphones are k702s. Honestly this is my first setup and I'm pretty impressed with the sound in most cases. In some of my older recordings from early 70s-80s, I really have to jack up the volume on the Lavry running it almost at full throttle. I still kind of feel there might be something missing in the mids as vocals don't seem as crisp or up front in a lot of music as I feel they should. I have about 300 hrs of break-in on the 702s maybe 50 or so on the DAC. Is this a case of just poor recording or is the amp not driving these 702s properly. Impossible for me to go and just try a different set of can as I'm living in the mideast .Thanks
