I just got a Cowon X5. The earbuds, while offering decent sound, are uncomfortable and easily fall out when I work out at the gym. I need something that: (i) is comfortable; and (ii) will stay in place while I do my workout (cardio and weights). I was thinking either the Shure E4s or the Etymotics ER 6 or ER 4s. Am I going down the wrong track altogether (i.e., should I be looking at a set of "street headphones" that cover the ear? Any help/insight here would be greatly appreciated.

Anythinh but the ety er-4. I personally don't think it's a good gym phone. Never tried the shure, but the er-6 . . I could see using them as a workout phone. If you don't mine an open clip-on headphone, the koss ksc-75 is okay. Stays in place most the time, but outside noise (i.e bad gym music or other people) leaking in maybe a problem.
