Help with high-end earphones (not a fan of ie800)

I have been using Sennheiser ie800 for a while now which I have never been a fan of. Didn’t really justify the price, despite of buying it from a good friend at a great price.
Maybe the earphones are somewhat limited.. I happen to think that in headphones, the upgrade from HD650 to 800s was so great in every way.

I’d like to know a real high-end earphones that can really justify its price (if it’s expensive enough).
I’m sort of after 3D, hifi. Large soundstage

This is a good thread to get started on, as the IEM landscape has changed so much since the ie800 was considered top dog.

If you're a fan of the HD800 (incredible detail retrieval, wide soundstage, bass light), I think you'd really appreciate the Empire Ears Zeus
