Hi,

Could someone please recommend me some interconnects that are as good or better than the Apature Accusound silver sonics BL-4's.

Thanks,
Peter

Peter,

What's your budget for a new pair of ICs??

Try reading Jude's review of the Cardas' ICs that sell for about $380 or so. Also, look for Jon Beilin's review of his silver ICs he got and really liked. These only cost about $160 or so and are also silver center conductor like yours are.

If budget isn't an issue the Cardas Golden Reference and Virtual Dynamics Nite series are supposed to be phenominal sounding, but very expensive!!!

at your budget I would PM either Duncan or Jon Beilin for info on those Silver ICs that they have tried and loved. For the meager price of about $160 or so these things are really quite hard to beat. They are hand made by some guy who sells and makes them himself. They use a silver center conductor and are built very well.

Here's a couple of links with info on the cables I posted on an old web site of mine:

These are Word docs, but if you need them in another format I'd be happy to save them in another and send them to you via email if you're interested.

For about the same price I could get some nice OCC silver interconnects. But its abit out of my price range. Is there anything good under 160? Actually want to spend under 100...but what to see what's out there in this area.

ships to USA only...

Fins someone here to help you out by having them shipped here first, then from someone from here to you. Don't let something so minor get in your way of getting some decent ICs for cheap!!!

I had the silver Audio 4.0 at one time. It is the quinessential silver wire with great detail and speed, but it also had a tad more bass and midrange weight than Silver Audio's top model, the Appassionata .

How about some Grado Signature ICs? They are in your price range for a 1m length. I have a set and I really like mine. They tend to have a warmer sound to them. The silver ICs I've tried tend to have a thin sound to them except for the AZ Silver Reference which is way over your budget.
