Hey guys, planning my first hifi setup, I have been thinking about it for quite a while and have made my mind up about it, sorry if this all seem very beginner level, stupid questions may be asked, i apologize in advance

It will be based around a PC, so I am planning on purchasing a xonar essence stx sound card to plug my headphones in (asus vulcan anc), but I am also planning on purchasing some speakers and an all in one system (the onkyo crn755 and the tannoy revolution dc6),

the problem i have is the ports of the sound card, would i connect the L and R speaker outputs from the sound card to the onkyo's L&R line input and then connect the speakers to the onkyo system? if this is not possible / not a desirable set up (wasteful usage of components/ weak utilization) then any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks guys!

EDIT: I guess my question is if i really do need this onkyo, or would the sound card be enough, and what would be the difference without it as im only purchasing it as a part of a deal, however I may run a solo system in due time, and would this be worth purchasing now and perhaps having it for the system that i'll set up when i finish university? thanks guys
