I am a total noob at this and I am just waiting for some parts right now so I thougt I should ask this in advance. I was wondering how you ground your I/O jacks. Also what should I use to make it so the bottom of the board doesn't touch the case, as it is metal. Glue maybe?

Just use rubber feet.. or a peice of thin rubber. glue that to the bottom of the board or the actual case.

I've built a couple of mint-tin amps, and never had to worry about isolating the jacks. I just bolted them in, grounding the case. I haven't built one with a power jack, though. In that case I'd try to get an isolated jack (plastic bushing) for one of them.

I used to play the Star Wars card game so I have hundreds of useless commons lying around. Trim the edges off and slip it in the tin...covers the bottom perfectly. Basically anything will work...plastic, rubber, paper, as long as it's not conductive or easily torn.
