I've been looking into the DT770 80Ohms and the Shure SRH840, while I'm leaning toward the DT770 I've read that vocals and classical music doesn't sound good with them due to recessed mids, how is that? And some people say awesome things about the SRH840 while others say they're overhyped.

My use would be 70% Music 30% Gaming and movies occasionally.
I listen to Classic, POP and KPOP.

I plan running them without an amp, but I could possibly buy one soon.
I currently have the Senn's HD202, so as long as they are big step ups from it I will probaly like them.

The SRH840s are probably better all-rounders based on the more balanced sound, DT770s are really too bass-heavy IMO
