Check the for sale forum here and buy a used amp so you can get one for under $120 that may be worth $200 or so new.
As far as that price range, i only have experiance with a few amps.
I also dont know how hard those K701s are to drive. I think theyre not all that hard, but i think they have alot of highs, so maybe something with a warmer sound, depending on your tastes.
Really for the quality sound those are supposed to put out, and for the price...you should prolly spend a little more and get a Corda MOVE amp for $235. The Move also has a USB DAC which would be great for your PC listening. $100 amps are better paired with less expensive headphones, but if you cant spend more, then ill tell you that my Z-Audio Mu sounds good and drives my full sized cans fine and it goes for $99 at
www.z-audio.com
Granted i havent heard every $100 amp out there.
My C&C Box+ from
www.headb.com $109 is more versatile, but doesnt drive full sized cans as well, but also doesnt have any hiss at all if you ever use IEMs, and has a low gain setting, bass boost, and a switch for wide stereo and is rechargeable.
I know theres other choices besides the Move amp that are up to the quality of the 701s, but the Hornet and AE2 etc are even more money,so id say best buy for price is prolly a Move amp if you could swing it.
If its not going to be portable at all, that 701 may pair up nice with a Little Dot MK lll tube amp, if you like tubes....and i think theyre around the $200 mark, and people on head-fi seem to like them. Im thinking of trying one myself.
