Help with amp for gaming.

Hello all I am looking for a good amp for gaming. Right now I have a mayflower arc. It's okay but i was maybe expecting more. I have 3 pairs of headphones. Dt 990 pro 250 ohm, dt 770 pro 250 ohm and the sennheiser hd 598. I have been looking at the schiit stack magni 3 /modi 3 or even the creative sound blaster x7. Will I see any improvement by switching to one of those amps? Also just so you know I use a stand alone xlr mic so mic input is a plus just to have but not crucial.

I would suggest getting better headphones, before replacing the Mayflower ARC.
Beyerdynamic T90 (open) headphones or T70 (closed) headphone.
Or try one of the modified Fostex T50-RP headphones.

Both the DT990 and HD598 are liked by gamers.
I'm not sure how replacing the Mayflower ARC will improve gaming?
The Mayflower ARC does not offer any headphone surround sound processing (nor does the Modi/Magni).
Do you do any FPS gaming and want to add headphone surround sound?
