I am new to this forum and having read various articles on here I’m amazed by the the amount of knowledge collectively shared on here. I would like some advice please I currently have a Chord Hugo 2 and I have the Final D8000 plugged straight in it with the stock cable. I just find the sound a tad bright and a bit bass light. I’m looking for a warmer sound signature and wish to retain the chord Hugo as like the portability aspect and the Dac part is exceptional so will use the Dac as main listening is done through Tidal. I have read good reviews on the violectric my question is would I benefit from adding a violectric v280 into the chain connected to the chord Dac or if there is any other amplifier you would recommend. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated
