have been thinking getting a pair of ciem, since my old er4 is dead.
my budget is a bit tight, hence I'm after comfort a bit more than sound quality.

i have look at null audio, westone and Inearz they sell their entry level ciem for around 300. sigle BA (Inearz & westone) or Dynamic + BA (Null Audio)

i wonder is it worth to get a 2nd hand Westone UM3x or similar iem and do reshelling? is will cost approx. the same.

thanks advance for any help

cheers,
Sam

Inearz has great line and great quality for an affordable price. If I were tight on funds I would choose one of their models vs a remold. For around 300 you can get the p250 which is a 2 driver or at 350.00 you can get a three driver the p350 or p350xb.

Maybe also check out an Alclair Reference Triple Driver or one of the Custom Arts (they are quite affordable and well-made, just like the Alclair). Worth looking into.

thanks Serman, I have really limit knowledge of ciem, and those few brands i mention are from the forum. your input wider my option a lot, thanks again for your input

For budget and comfort, I wholeheartedly recommend Custom Art. My Music One silicone is hands down my most comfortable pair, and they nailed it first time. My cheapest pair, but sound great!

That said, AAW (Null Audio) also done great jobs building my M20 and W500. They fit great, they just protrude a bit more, preventing them to be worn while sleeping on my side.
