I want to get a cd player to listen to at home to get full quality, instead of using the iPod all the time, I can tell the differences in sound. I have seen countless threads on the 1992 classics, which is what i am looking for, they seem to be cheaper, and have better sound quality. Can anyone point me in the right direction for a good sounding one that really is pretty cheap and would work well? thanks alot,

Rob

Agreed. The D-32 and D-34 are similar-build and as far as I know are of the same quality, so any of those three would be perfect.

The D-32 looks a little different, but inside is absolutely the same as a D-33 (I've got a DOA 32 here, even the revision number on the PCB is the same as on one of the 33s, assuming they're original). The D-34 has a 1-bit DAC (the 33 is dual 16-bit/8x oversampling).
