Hi everyone

I want to buy Shure SRH 840 in this Xmas

But as I am living in Canada, after shipping and tax, everything gets more expensive.

For example:
Amazon.com....Shure SRH 840 costs $144, but after shipping and tax, it goes up to $200!!!

I am willing to keep it under $160-$180 CAN

Please give me some ideas and help me to get it in a gd prices!!!

THX a lot

I'd be surprised if you could get that cheap in Canada with shipping and taxes.
Good luck!

Best thing to do would be to buy it used from here for that price range, or sometimes even less. Or if you really need them new, then try to find someone that works at Future Shop and get them to give you an employees' discount... I remember hearing another member from here about being able to get them for near the $100 mark after the discount.

Basically, yes. Your best bet is to find someone who works in retail (however small the selection of cans retailers sell), buy used (probably your best bet), or use a mail forwarder service from the States.

haha....cool

thank for the replies!!!

One more question. What price range should I ask for?

US$130 (used) + shipping (around US $20) ?

will people accept that price?....or i can pay less? =P

Yeah, but that's higher than the OP's budget...plus you still hvae to factor in shipping. I believe they use Purolator. If he was willing to pay that price, he could always get them for $200 ( ask for that price ) at FutureShop, pay the taxes and forget about shipping.
However...he wanted it cheaply...so Head Fi forums it is...
