Hi all, just short and sweet:
The prices have finally fallen enough to squeeze a used T1 into my budget, if I go on a strict Ramen diet for a month. Well worth it!
Problem is that I have no idea what the amp requirements are for these bad boys. I have a Glow Audio Amp One tube amp that I use with my AKG K712 and it's great. I also have a variety of decent BSG CMoy amps, one designed for the AKG and another for my old Beyer DT880-600 ohm.
I love the softer tube sound, and would love to match that up to the T1. What turns me on about the T1 is its reputation for being "the best AKG K series headphone Beyerdynamic ever made." So that's what I'm hoping to get out of owning one.
