All - I'm looking for a portable digital Transport because I've grown completely annoyed at my iPhone's lack of space for my music and honestly don't know where to start looking for a replacement (aside from dedicated iPod touch).
I'll be using this device to feed external DACs (Oppo HA-2 on the go, Oppo or Schiit Modi Multibit at work, etc.), so I care less about the transport's internal DAC than its ability to store and feed bits to a separate component.
Currently I use my iPhone, iTunes for file management, and KaiserTone (or iAudioGate) to play the files.
What transports should I be looking at aside from a 128gb iPod Touch (I consider 128gb my absolute minimum storage capacity given the size of my current and growing library)?
