I recently picked up an old pair of Pioneer Monitor 10s, plugged them into my computer interface (puts out a line level signal) and they sounded beautiful. A few days later, after storing them carefully and barely touching them, I plug them in again, and the right channel no longer works.
I am trying to diagnose what's wrong with the headphones. I tested the jack, and there is continuity between the tip and the sleeve but not the ring. Does that mean the right speaker is blown, or could it mean something else? I'm really hoping it's the jack or the cable between the left and right speakers, but I don't know how to tell without completely taking the whole thing apart...
Sorry if this is a pointless/redundant thread, I am just really desperate to fix these cans...
