help! sony 7506 mod

i am sure i once read in these forums about a mod to smooth out the harsh highs for these cans. i have tried searching only to come up with the beyer pad mod threads. can someone point me in the right direction? thanks,

It should work on the V6/7506.

I'm not exactly sure but if it's anything like 80 percent of the headphones out there, you have to first remove the pads and access the screws behind them.

thanks again. i am going to try and dig up the thread which has the pics of someone removing the pads off the 7506's. mine are brand new and i do not want to rip the things apart! lol.
