Hey guys,

First post and was hoping for some assistance if possible please :)

I've broken both of the jacks (headphones & microphone) on my Sennheiser PC 320's, and I'm a little lost as to which wires need to be soldered to where on the new jacks.

The above image shows the stripped wires, and both of the 3.5mm jacks that I've bought.

The top wire is the mic and the bottom is headphones.

Mic: I've seen with other brands that there is usually a white + ground only, so I'm not sure what the green/red is for. I'm also not sure which rings I should solder them on to. Note that I can go out and buy another 'gold' 3.5mm jack if it's easier.

Headphones: I believe the green wire is for the left and red is for the right. Is the green/red mixed wire therefore the ground?

Thanks!!

Scroll down for 'left' and 'right' channel testing.
If they're reversed, simply re-solder.

If you hear one channel in both ears, then the ground is something else.
