Help - Red "X" instead of photo?

Often times when I click on a link that contains a photo (like audiogon or ebay for instance) instead of the photo I get a little white box with a red X in it. How do I correct this?

This usually means that the site hosting the photo has tanked it. But you can try right clicking on the 'x' and then clicking "show photo".

It must be something else as this hardly ever happened before. My wife messed with a few things on the computer and now probably half the photos show the little red X. Right clicking doesn't do anything.
