• Must have a good mic. I am often in meetings in noisy places and clarity is important
• Whether it's a earphone or earbud doesn't matter much to me. What is important is portability & ease of use. What I mean by that: traditional earphones with cables are a hassle because when you're constantly traveling, taking them in and out and untangling is such an annoyance. I have tried wireless earphones before and because it's not truly wireless, having to charge it is not as easy as a earbud which is in a solid case and again, easy to store and charge.

You should be thankful that you caught me reading your post. Look at the refurbished TaoTronics ANC 3.5mm earphones and add the 4-year protection plan for a couple bucks more:
