Hi guys, 
 
After some intensive reading over last week, I ordered an iBasso D10 this Monday, now I need a new HP as well. I recently found a seller selling AKG 702 for $238 on eBay, but the shipping cost is just unbearable(I'm in aus btw), and I doubt the D10 would be enough to drive it, so I guess I should seek other options.
 
I'm using Shure SE310 atm, it beats the S*** out of my old V700dj, but I still have the feeling that a proper hp is needed
 
my source will be PC, via USB, or PCDP via optical, in fact I was thinking getting a Matrix mini then trade the D10, as portable is not my concern, just not sure if it worth a $50 upgrade and all the hassle
 
the music I listen to: classic, new age, vocal, some rock
 
and before you say anything, pls keep in mind that I'm in Australia, the shipping cost would be $30-40, unless it's free shipping

I agree, the Ibasso wouldn't be sufficient in driving the k702. 
 
For you're genres I'd recommend going with an open headphone. My first recommendation would be to get a Beyerdynamic dt880, or possibly an ATH ad900. 
 
Just be sure that you don't bottleneck your Ibasso. I'm not sure if the D10 can do 600ohm but if it can i'd say go with the dt880 600ohm.

But can his D10 handle the Hd600? If it can, he would probably be able the run the K702 on it as well I would think.

isn't dt880 notoriously picky on amp?  I thought ad900 is in a lower league, no?

Isn't dt880 extremely picky on amp? maybe too much to ask for D10

HD600 is well over my budget, man. 2nd hand HP just don't sound right to me, when things go wrong, you have nowhere to go
