Hey guys, I am having problems with my Magni/Modi. After not being used for years, I finally pulled them out of storage but now they sound VERY tinny, flat and monotone.  Is it the Magni or the Modi that is the problem?  The sound is COMPLETELY different, and definitely something is wrong.  Man I haven't messed with audio equipment in so long, I've forgotten everything!

I was a very amateur enthusiast who bought a Magni/Modi a while back (when they were first released).  However, due to school and constant traveling, I haven't had the time to use it shortly thereafter.  I tried unplugging and replugging all the cables and the adapter, swapping out between multiple headphones (Noontec Zoro, Senn Amperiors)

Phew, nevermind sorry. Had a total noob moment and a meltdown. I think it was just the fact that BOTH of those headphones had mics and I left my 3-band aux in. I brought in my D2000 and it sounds just fine (and also when I swap those headphone's cables out for 2-bands)

I can't recall the "perfect" position of dial on the Magni, any advice?  I vaguely remember it was best around the 8-9 clock position, no?
