Hi, after taking the advice of all on here last summer when I was buying some headphones for school and being quite happy with my choice I am now looking for some help with choosing an amp. The headphones I ended up with were the Audio Technica A900's. Anyhow, I'm looking into possibly getting an amp up to 300 (can be pushed a bit). I prefer more detail and crispness in an amp to a warmer muddier sound. An example of my taste was I preferred a Denon reciever to a Yamaha when I was helping my dad pick out some stuff for a HT. I listen mostly to classic rock ranging from southern rock to prog rock like Rush and other early 80s classic rock bands. Also, I may consider upgrading the headphones later on so I would like something that wouldn't limit my headphone choices later. Any suggestions so that I could read a little more into them would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
