Help Picking New DAC

Hi everybody

Since I'm new this is the only place I can start a thread.

I'm considering a new DAC, but don't want to get too carried away spending big $$$. These are some of the DACs I've been looking at on the internet, but I'm unable to actually hear them. If anyone is familiar with any of these I would appreciate your input.

Gustard X20 Pro
Denafrips Ares
Denafrips Pontus
HoloAudio Spring (level 1 or 2)
Benchmark DAC3

The safe route is Schiit.They make decent gear at a decent price and hold their resale value quite well here.

Depending upon whether you prefer a R2R or DS DAC you can look into Audio-GD....ordering is a bit odd,but their stuff is very well built and punch above price point.
