Hey all. I think that I'll be getting a Cowon X5L 30 Gig (hopefully) in a couple of weeks..and I need some headphones for it..

Now heres my situation. I'd be listening a lot at school and on the bus, and was thinking of getting some half-IEMS.
I can only spend 40 or less on those....

I was also thinking about getting some other 'phones for use at home or on cartrips that would be more comfortable to wear after a long pieriod of time..
I'm not sure i'm totally sold on the KSC75, but if they are so much better than the HD201 I might go with em...
I can only spend 20 Less on second pair :/

Thanks for the help

cx300 is probably the best semi-iem/earbud that can be had for 40 or under.
as for ksc75 vs hd201, well that would depend on your music tastes probably. if you like jazz or classical or such, then the hd201 is probably beter for your tastes...if you listen to mostly rock, pop, electronic, or hiphop then go with the ksc75
my 2 cents...good luck.

KSC 75 is truly pretty awesome. I can't think of a single other sub-$20 headphone (including the 201) that I would prefer to the KSC-75.

As for semi-IEMs, CX300 or Creative EP630 seem like good ideas.

I like the Sennheiser EH150s in this category, they are closed and do deliver some isolation-and sound good.

KSC-75 are awesome with metal and rock... but they won't give you enough isolation on the go, unless you up the volume considerably. Just saying.
