Hello guys.

First I'd like to say sorry if this post is not in the right place and like to ask a mod to move it to where it belongs.

Some days ago I decide to bring back the old turntable that was being unused here in home. It had no belt and no needle. Went to a repair shop and there fixed the two problems. It started back to play again :D

Today I bought a vinyl and I detected more two problems.

The first one is when I move the arm to the center to start spining the vinyl and then put it back on edge, the vinyl stops rotating and I can't start playing from the beggining. How can I resolve this?

The other one is sometimes the left channel has some noise. It's not amp fault neither is from speakers because I already made some tests and it's from turntable's cable. Is easy to change the cables (just unsolder and solder new ones) or can be other thing?

Thanks for your attention.
Best regards!
