Hi, Ihave a couple of questions. I am in the market for a new pair of headphones, but will probably buy them in mid July. my range is between 40-80 GBP. any help is wanted, I am also looking for a good place to buy them.

I generally wear for long runs, so comfort is quite important. I use them either on my computer, or on my mp3 player, so I guess the impudence will have to be quite low. If possible, I would like to be able to wear these outside, but this is not important, and would rather have better sound quality than anything.

i have read many many many topics, but all have left me even more confused. i gather that the grado SR60s are quite good, and some of the senns are quite good, but the choice is bewildering.

On a side note, I am also looking for some cheap headphones that i will wear while walking out and about. Although again sound quality is important, these need to be cheap. I am probably looking around the 10 pound mark, and most likely in-ear ones (to block out sound- very important on the tube)

Thanks for all the help, and if you have any questions, i will be willing to answer the best I can.

With your budget and needs the Grado SR-60 is a great choice at home. Open cans with alot of bang for the buck. On the cheap side while you're out and about JVC HA-FX33 marshmallows should work quite nicely for you...about 4-5 GBP.

I didn't mean "long runs" as in jog/run but for long periods of time. i was thinking, instead og the sr60s, would it better to get the MS1s as they are 99 dollars (50 pounds) shipped, so probably cheaper. or are they inferior?
