Hi,

I have just purchased an Epiphany Acoustics EHP-O2Di amp to upgrade from my broken Fiio E10.

I am currently using a pair of BayerDynamic DT990 Pro 250 ohm phones.

Although the sound has improved with my new amp I am sure that there is a better pair of headphones available that can truly show what my EHP-O2Di is capable of producing.

Can anyone suggest another pair of cans I could buy that would be a 'next level' upgrade from what I already own?

My preferred genre of listening music is electronic dance.

The DT990s are strong bass/treble with recessed mids.
What change in sound are you looking for?

Personally I think I would take the Audio Technica ATH-AD900X open headphones, over the DT990s.

What is your budget for the headphone upgrade?
