I've been looking for the model number of an old pair of Radio Shack headphones. At least I think they were Radio Shack or Optimus. They were full size and an open type of headphone. They had big earpads like the Grado's have with a lot of foam padding. They were black with maybe some chrome or silver on them. I think I saw them on the TV show "City Guys." Hey, I don't have cable anymore so stop laughing.

Does anybody know which headphones these are?

I think I remember those. "High Velocity" was part of the description? I think they were made by Koss. I have an old (1973)Rat Shack catalog, but it does not have that model in it.
From some reason Nova 66 is what I remember but I seldom trust my memory!

Are you talking about Realistic Pro-60's? Those match your description. They were made by Koss and I think Radio Shack carried them until about 5-7 years ago.

Budgie,

Try cutting and pasting the entire link into the browser, rather than clicking on it from my previous post.

Acid,

I couldn't find other pics of the headphones. Perhaps someone has a catalog from about 10 years ago.
