so i'm going to australia for three months. right now, i'm taking my grado hf2's, and addiems, but i'd still like some small speakers to take with me.
I'm currently considering:
logitech pure-fi anywhere
tivoli pal
or gallo satellite speakers with some sort of small amp
i'll be mainly using my ipod 5.5 and mbp as a source, either straight from the headphone jack or apogee duet.
so which would have the better sound? i'm thinking of just getting one gallo sat speaker (3" full range driver) and pair that with an amp, would be the best sound for the smallest package, and then somehow feed the stereo sound into that one speaker. i don't care about stereo separation at all.
any suggestions? is that the best choice? any super small and cheap amps i should look into?
