I have a pair of Sony MDR-AS800APs and I want to buy or make tips that are custom-fit for my ears. I bought and use those because they were thewirecutter.com's pick for best wired exercise headphones (ironic website name in this context). Because these headphones were designed to be used while exercising, they are waterproof--IPX8 and IPX5--and they are tough. Note that their waterproofing makes them easy to clean.
Can I get tips that are custom-made for the shape of my ears that will work with these headphones? I want custom-fitting tips because the ones that came with the headphones don't quite fit right, so the headphones lose their seal in my ears after only a few minutes of exercising, requiring me to push them back in. Should I pay someone to make tips for me, or should I try to make them myself? The last time I checked, there were YouTube videos on making your own custom tips, but I don't know if they are waterproof (or at least water-resistant), I don't know how tough (durable) they are, and I don't know how strong of a seal they form to keep out external sound.
In case anyone needs it, more information about my MDR-AS800APs' IPX8 and IPX5 ratings is given in their manual: https://docs.sony.com/release//MDRAS800AP.pdf, in the section "water resistance performance of this unit".
