I've read a few posts here about bending the rubber clips on the KSC-50, for a better fit. These things really pinch my ears after 30-45 minutes of use. Between them and the discomfort the PX200 can give me, I am starting to doubt a comfortable portable can exists. Anyways, back on the subject: HELP! Like, in-depth help...there's obviously a lot of ground to cover on something as complex as bending rubber clips. But seriously, they seem like they'll snap when i try bending them near where the rubber/plastic parts meet. And that's where the pinching is the worst.

Ok, if you look at the earclip pieces you'll see a join where the silver plastic meets the lighter grey rubber part. There's a small plastic bit in there that holds the rubber part onto the plastic part but it's only about 5mm long, if you allow for about 1cm past where the silver meets the rubber you can then bend to your hearts content - 90degree bends are fine

If you're worried, start at the very end of the rubber bit and work your way back, this will give you an idea as to how flexible they are.
After that, fiddle aroud a bit with the fit until you find something that suits you

Ah, thanks for that helpful tidbit. One final question, arising from the last answer

Can i safely push the rubber into the padding, without damaging the drivers of the KSC-50? The reason for doing that of course, would be to get a tighter fit.

Swivel the clips out if you need to bend the rubber a bit further, rather than pushing the clip into the foam.
It's ok to push the clip ONTO the foam, but probably not a good idea to push it IN.

Sepkha, have you tried cutting your ears to better fit the KSC-50's?

You must have huge ears!

Edit: have you tried immersing the clips (and ONLY the clips!) in hot water for a minute or so before you bend them?

try this...

before you put them on, pull the rubber peice outward to make them into bigger curves...

slip them onto your ears

use you thumb and push the rubber price into your ears, you may feel a little presure, but now they 50s will stay on your ear better

Yeah, thanks you guys. ProFingersk8er, your suggestion helped the most, I’d say. They stay on very well now, no discomfort. The only thing is, I think I made the curves a little too wide...I heard a kind of crack sound when I stretched them too far. I'd imagine this is similar to the sound of them SNAPPING IN HALF, right? Better be careful then.
