Help me find amp for E500

Dont say tomahwak or hornet. Hornets and tomahawk are out of budget which is around $100. Have a 1st Gen 2gig Nano with a Line out
Looking to have increased/wider soundstage with exaggerated highs.
Portability is a plus as well

Currently have a PAV2 so it would have to best that. Admittedly, I heard little difference using the PAV2 and my E4G. So would upgrading an amp still be worth it? Or are my ears not sensitive enough to find a musical difference between amps?

ibasso T2 would fit your need.

the sound-stage enhancement on that little amp is subtle but effective with IEMs. The bass switch is nice on certain types of music as well. I use it currently with E500s and ER-4Ps and its a nice match.

Corda Move, the a little warmth sound right suit for E500; the deep and punchy bass also good to synergy with E500 (if you haven't a good match of amp, you wouldn't get good enough bass from the E500).

Ultra ditto on the Rockhopper, near your price range and sounds much better than my Tomahawk, lot of power, good soundstage and detail, very clear and neutral amp, great value for the money.

Another recommendation for a Mini^3 with AD8397, from either MisterX or Rockhopper. This amp just kills (in a good way) IEMs and lower end Grados.

I do have a HeadSix on the way, though, so I reserve the right to recommend that at some future point in time
