i currently have bose ie2 earbuds and they just started dying today...

i wanted to get a nice set of headphones for my computer

i have a creative titanium hd soundcard so nice headphones aren't going to waste :P

i was looking at a whole range of headphones from the sennheiser hd 598's to the 650's and the hifiman he-4's

i want a warm sound and it would be best if they were available in best buy, but it isnt required

if there is any more info thats needed just ask!

also, is my cheapo rocketfish 3.5mm headphone extender limiting my audioquality?

It depends what you listen for. For guitar, Grado SR225i is very good.

In general, other choices include HE400, several Beyerdynamics depending on what you want emphasized, and maybe modded Fostex (LFF Paradox, MrSpeakers, ZMF).
