Currently my earbuds are better than my headphones, and I don't think that's how it's supposed to be. I need some headphones that perform proficiently for my price range. I have been looking at a few headphones in the past couple days, but I don't know much of anything to make a good judgement. I've read some of the forums, so yes, PurpleAngel, I have looked at the Gemini DJ HSR-1000's.
These headphones will almost be purely dedicated to desktop computer use, and I only have an onboard sound card (realtek). I may use them occasionally with my Zune. I have an eclectic taste in music, but I predominantly listen to dubstep and anything Ellie Goulding, so bass and treble should both be strong.
The headphones I've been looking at are:
-Beyerdynamic DTX 501 p
-Superlux 681F
-Noontec Zoro HD
-Audio-Technica ATH-M50S
-Gemini DJ HSR-1000
A you may have noticed, I don't care if they are Supra or Cirumaural, open or closed. If there are more options, please tell me! Well, thank you all, and good luck to me!! :D

I've reduced my interest to the M50S and Noontec Zoro; however, i'm still open to suggestions. Mostly, I'm only commenting to bump this and hopefully attract some attention! Help me out guys! D:

Have considered the Ultrasone HFI-580? Better bass than M50 and it has the treble you're looking for.
It's a little over your budget but it's worth it and if you're willing to buy used the "like new" is only $128.05 shipped.

The Pioneer HDJ1500 is another great headphone for dubstep with great bass and treble, and it's well within your price range. Black and white is also available for a few extra $$.
