Hi everyone i am new to this forum
I need help choosing a good stylish headphones for my MD walkman.
My budget is : 45 Us dollar + shipping (shipping around 12 Us dollar to europe)
I prefer Having Clip-on Headphones
I also Use the headphones for my laptop computer .

in 2004 i have used Pioneer and Audio technica.

Audio technia ATH-EM7:
f_audiotechnica_athem7.jpg

This headphones had good sound
but was expensive and surprisengly the cable lasted only 2 months

even if i would consider buying another i cant aford it right now.

Pioneer SE-E07-X5 :

The pioneer headphones i found having a good sound
for a cheap price , but cable broke in 3 months .
But Pioneer custumber service here in Spain is terrible
When i called to ask about new headphones
they didnt gave good answer
i called second time same person still no good answer.
I send 1 Email to Pioneer expecting detailed answer
Instead they said:
You have already called us 2 times and now you send a email why?
This way of threat custumbers made me feel very disapointed.
so i would not recomend Pioneer to anyone .

SONY MDR-Q22LP/S:
MDR-Q22LP_web.jpg

When pioneer headphones broke i fortunaly had some reserve headphones
a 2 year old Sony clip-on Q22Lp headphones
after so long use they still work fine.
while i guess they are in the limit of life so i want to buy new headphones

What headphones should i buy?
================================================

First is important that is clip-on
I use Cap often so it must either be earbud or clip-on
i dont like earbud they never realy fit my ears

My budget is 45 Us dollar

I have 2 choises so far:

SONY MDRQ-66LW:

This headphones are beautiful
the cord can be retracted with a button push
I love the white color on top right.
i guess the sound same or even better than MDR-Q22LP?
is White color good to get or does it get dirty easy?

The other choice i have is KOSS KSC-35
B000051SCZ.01.LZZZZZZZ.jpg

This headphones is retro , but is said to be the best for this price.
problem i need a credit card is only for sale in Usa through their web.
I live in Europe but I have a friend in Usa
that can buy ksc-35 for me and then re-send it to me
but this takes time and the shipping will be more expensive than Sony.

So realy i dont know what to do.
If i go for Sony 66lw i get great design , the color i want
and okey sound.

If i go for Koss Ksc-35 i get great sound but have to sacrifice design
and i cant have the color i want.

there is another alternative KSC-75:
ko04.jpg

But i dont think is so good as Ksc-35.

I am mainly thinking KSC-35 or Sony 66lw
but i open for more suggestions
just remember my budget is 45 Us dollar.
I dont want any of the headphones i already had (in this thread)

The KSC35 is almost definetly the best of the newer bunch you're looking at...

They're only about $10-$20 in the US, so even with shipping taken in to account, you should be well within budget

another vote for the ksc35. you could see if JB. has any more, that might be easier than ordering from a website and then having them mailed.

Thanks i have pm him to see if he have some left.
Do you think that Koss has Louder sound and better bass
than the Sony 66lw headphones?

I want as loud sound as possible
and good bass
the music i usaly listen to is pop, Hiphop/rap , Celtic and some rock
I always listen with Max volume on

KSC75 beats the 35 in that you can bend the ear hook for a custom fit. I have mine bent so its a tight fit. That increases bass. Some folks will cite the weight difference but that IMHO is insignificant.

IMHO the KSC75 should be at the top of that list. Best $20 value of any phone mentioned on this forum... IMHO. Its %85 of an SR60 but less than 1/3 the price.

Backed by Koss lifetime warranty. Add an amp and impedence adapter and things get REAL sweet... for the $$$

nothing can beat ksc-35 .
how is the price difference between those 2?

The KSC35 earhook is hard plastic and can not be bent. So, if out of the box your ears do not fit right.... youre out of luck. The ksc75 earhook is metal with rubber sleeve that can be bent for a custom fit.

Now... Im willing to bet that with a heat gun the KSC35 plastic can become pliable... but Ive never tried that.

The drivers ARE different between the 2. The KSC75 driver has a metallic coating (looks like a mylar ESD bag) while the KSC35 driver is clear plastic.

many claim the drivers are sonically different... others state that the sonic differences are minor, and its the FIT of the phone to the ear that has greater impact to the sound than the driver material.

IMHO the fact that the KSC75 can be custom fit makes it a better choice.

Never heard it before... so I cant comment. I would be shocked if it sounded half as decent as any of the koss 60 ohm models. I havent been impressed with any of the sonys, below the MDRV6. (note Ive never heard an e888, or any of the eggos) IMHO theyre all just overdressed junk... Pretty on the outside but crappy drivers mounted in poorly designed earcup enclosures. I like the feel-fit of the MDR-V300... Ive been thinking about a Koss / Grado driver transplant into one of those. Out of the box theyre junk thougn.

Yea i know Sony dosnt have the best sound
but they are good at design and durability .

i Wish i had money to burn
then i would buy this one (even if i dont like earbuds):

http://shop.ipodworld.co.uk/iPodWorl...hones/ET02.htm

seem like the best walkman headphones
i got minidisc not ipod by the way.

If you dont have $$$ to burn... just get KSC75s.

Durability??? My EX51 broke after ~60 hours of use. My KSC75 hasnt busted after 8-9 months of use.

Take your pick though, its your $$$.

i cant realy get myself to like Ksc-75

of both Ksc-35 and ksc-75 to make the choice easyer?
