Hi,
I've decided to get DT990. These are going to be my entry into head-fi, so I'm real excited. I'm located in India, where none of the amps are available, so I have to go DIY. I'm getting it built by a friend.
So which design works best with the DT990, when used mainly for rock? Springsteen, RHCP, metallica, Floyd (ohh lots of floyd), Dave Matthews, Massive Attack, Led Zep, Bryan Adams, Dido, Corrs.....some Sade, some Ray Charles, a little Steely Dan, and even Prodigy and Sepultura if I'm feeling too sleepy. Along with plenty of Indian film music, which doesn't have the best recording quality, but the singers are very easily amongst the best in the world.
So, Vocals are very important, as is bass for all the rock. I don't really understand most of the audiophile terms, but I want something that'll get my feet tapping.
Will PPAv2 work?
