Need a smaller, more portable set of headphones for travel... Got LCD's, Focal, Senns, etc... But too big.

This is for times, when I tired of my Campfire Audio IEM's.

Seems like everything is wireless these days.

Thanks in advance

I am open to any price, but would probably prefer under $1,000.... I'd like something that is compact and/or foldable. Something along the size of beats or Bose, but again wired and no noise cancelling....

Thanks again,

Oh and one more thing, I'd like the portable headphones to have balanced capability to connect to my Astel and Kern DAP.

Sony MDR1AM2 or Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7b would be good options for closed portable headphones that you can run balanced. Campfire Audio Cascade would be another option in a higher price tier.

Koss porta pro. I just got one of these only for the sake of testing them out.

As for having the MDR-Z1R, IER-Z1R, IER-M7. I can say koss Porta pros deliver quite good sound quality for the price I got them.

I also have the Campfire Andromeda and I have the AFC 2 as alternative portable headphones. So I would say give the AFC 2 a try.

For wireless stuff. I personally prefer the Bose NC 700 over the Sony WH-1000XM3 (I own both).

Audio Technica ath-wp900 if you want something a little better than the likes of the Msr7b and mdr-1am2. Neither of the ATs fold up though.
